Buyer beware!!!

The app itself is great but ADT is a ripoff. They offer you free equipment and then will hook up a bunch of overpriced equipment. Theyll promise you one price and then months later will charge you more. Read your contract thoroughly or they will rip you off. They stole 1500 dollars from me. They claimed I would get free equipment. I paid for 3 years of service and then months later they said I paid for the equipment only. I paid 1700 dollars for a few window and door sensors and 2 smoke detectors. Do not purchase ADT. Save your wallet thousands of dollars and go with any other security system out there. I wish I had done my research and not believed what they promised me. Im filing a lawsuit against them. Check out their bad reviews on the better business bureau. They are hot accredited because of their shady business tehniques.

I use it to sign for packages

FedEx rang my Ring video doorbell and said that they had a package that required a signature. I had just left the house to pick up my son from school and didn’t want to turn around to sign for the package because then I’d be late. I asked if they would be willing to slide the package inside my house and the FedEx driver asked, “you can do that?” I used the Pulse App to disarm my security alarm, unlock the front door, then I watched him slide the package inside and told him “Thanks!”. Then I locked my front door and re-armed my security system. It was pretty cool and saved me a trip back home.

Almost Perfect

I wish I could rate this app 4.8 stars, but I am unable to (hence the 4 star rating). Everything is almost perfect, but with the last two updates, the assigned "Default Dashboard View" is not working like it was before upon loading of the app. When the app initially opens, the top dashboard view is blank (no image or camera feed). Its not until I slide left or right that the assigned Default Live Feed (or User Uploaded Image) load. Please fix.

Inconsistent

One day Im able to sign in and arm/disarm another day I get unknown status/activity report....the app seems pretty useless if its not working for me most of the time.

Doesnt always work!!

Half of the time the app works well letting me disarm and arm from my phone, however the other half which is to much... The app either logs me off like Ive never had the app and I have to start all over or it has an unknown status and will not allow me to do anything on the app including alarming, disarming, or even viewing from my cameras...GRRRR So very frustrating as a pay a lot for your system I cant even use properly.....please fix immediately!!!!

Been using this app for 8 months..

Its very slow when loading and connecting. As soon as I get into my driveway, Ill pull up the app to unarm my home and it will take a couple of minutes before everything is complete. Wish it would load faster.

Great App need myq support.

App is a lot better like that you added ring support. Can you also add support for chamberlain myq garage door opener. Also make a widget for garage door opener. Its a pain having to login to app then scroll down to open garage door.

Love the new look, app is improving

Update3: slowly, but steadily improving. Login time is too slow, would like to see that improved. Keep going! Update2: Thank you for TouchID and the improved home view. Update: app is getting better. Please keep releasing new features and fixes. I like that we are getting more updates that before. Must have TouchID! I really like the new look and navigation. I have Pulse video and I can see whats happening at home right when I log in.

Could work

Great app in theory. I have a dog and he barks every time he hears the beeps of the alarm so the app would be every helpful, if it worked. For whatever reason I cannot arm or disarm my house.

Getting better, still needs work

I miss the old UI, actually. The latest updates have this large, colorful looking UI, but its hard to use because you cant see a long list of devices anymore, you have to keep tapping "show more" over and over. Addition of Touch ID is nice but it still takes ~40 seconds to log into the app, which makes it a pain if I just want to quickly check something (turn on a light, set the temperature, etc.). Update for v7.4.2: the Home View is broken in this version. For some reason my floorplan image is very tiny and does not fill the whole screen like it used to. Please fix this!

Photos

Impossible to show a photo of the house in the iPad app. (iPhone app works fine.) The move and scale function does not work at all, other than to stretch the photo larger which makes the result worse. And, without any scaling, only the top left corner of the chosen photo displays in the app.

As a Ring Customer, the integration makes me safer

I like the integration with my Ring Video doorbell. Front door security just went to a new level with ADT.

Needs some improvement.

This app does seem to work pretty good except it is kind of slow. I would like to see a "refresh mesh" button placed on this app because sometimes I have a module that goes off-line. Therefore a refresh mesh button would help me put it back online without having to go to a computer to do so. I would also like to see all modules show when that part is opened instead of hitting "show more".

Great App

Overall this is a great app, but opens slow when logging in. Would love to see this work with the Apple Watch. That would take the app to a new level.

Still 0 stars...

Its fine most of the time for arming and disarming the system. Nothing else works reliably (I have an iPhone 6s). The last update broke the ability to set thermostats and light dimmers.

Great app - much improved security and smart home automation app

I love being able to arm and disarm my system, control my Z-wave lights, watch live/streaming video, and monitor sensor activity from this app. Much improved over previous versions. Cant wait to see how they continue to improve the app.

Terrible, absolutely terrible

App only works with wireless. But wait: I am off in the boonies and want to see if someone has entered my home. No wireless. Out of luck. What a piece of junk!!

Inconsistent

App keeps saying that my log in is invalid (its not) or the system is down. This is very inconvenient considering I was logging on because I heard a noise and wanted to check the video on the very expensive cameras that we pay for. This has happened other times too. Security lacks the whole comfort aspect when the app doesnt allow for consistent access and control.

Need help

Switched from Time Warner to ADT because of ADTs reputation and cost. The APP doesnt work!! It keeps saying there is a burglary and there isnt. My daughter opened the door when it was set for Stay and it was set off from my daughter opening the door. System was reset by the keypad but wont work with the APP!! Called ADT, waited 20 minutes on the phone and the problem was never fixed. Not sure how to fix this. Ive reset, deleted, logged in, logged out, refreshed the APP, no change. HELP!!

Awful

Terrible app! ADT products and services are terrible in general. Pulse App is hit or miss in terms of working. Alarm products malfunction frequently. Do not recommend at all.
