Pretty good now

Forget all the 1 star reviews. The app works as expected. It does. Need to be updated to support the Plus screen size but Touch ID works beautifully, it arms and disarms quickly, and the camera is only a second behind. You cant add automation sequences or any other power features. You still need to use the ADT web portal for that but it does work to keep an eye on system status and cameras.

Works Great

The app works great. It has never failed to arm/disarm or stream my cameras.

This app is a disgrace

Lets start with the thermostat dial: half the time it fails to work and thats after youve spent 10 minutes trying to swipe it just right with your finger so that it doesnt do something else unintentionally. Then lets talk about features that take multiple touches to accomplish that should just take 1. Try unlocking your door or changing your thermostat. You need to scroll down, then you need to press to get into another screen and then you can finally press something that does something - if it actually works. Older versions of this app were more user friendly. They must have 10 year olds designing their apps without testing the user experience.

App no longer works

Using three smart devices and the computer no longer working to access alarm or thermostat. Can only set w key fob for alarm. Called customer service. Long wait then gave all the info only to be out on hold. Finally hung up.

Doesnt work!

I cant arm or disarm my system with this app. Please fix!

Useless App now

Something very wrong now. No longer works using this app. Even deleted and downloaded again. Emailed ADT no result. Finally called them but waited 10 minutes to get a live person. I think they gave heard this complaint before. Customer Service saying yes we can probably fix this tech issue but was put on hold. Finally i hung up.

Make it possible to schedule lighting

Create a setting to where lights can be scheduled to turn on and off at various times. Will change review when issue is fixed.

This app is crapp

We have had nothing but problems from the very beginning. Every time the app updates, we have trouble accessing the features and this newest update is no exception. This time though, we cant seem to fix the problem. Theres nothing like coming home and having to wait for four hours for your house to warm up to an acceptable temperature because you couldnt access your thermostat through the app whilst traveling. Currently, we have zero access to any features but account settings and logout. The status is unknown. I have tried installing and reinstalling the app with zero success. What a waste of money on this system. We will be looking for a new alarm company now.

Garbage app

Fails to load constantly. Cannot disarm or arm system for the last couple of weeks, just says "connecting". Fix it!

New release buggy

This app has been unstable since Ive had it over the past year. The most recent update has caused new issues where you cannot set a default camera. Very frustrating. At times video will not play even when I verify my internet connection works perfectly. Customer service is terrible. Only response ever get is reinstall app but that never fixes problem.

Doesnt work. Dont download!

Lazy ADT hasnt fixed the app after the last iOS update. App no longer works--when you call the 800 number (after being on hold for about 20 minutes) the unapologetic ADT employees says they are aware of the "issue" and they have no additional information to share. Zero stars. The pits.

Disfunctional app

I have had this service for months. The actual adt service works fine. However their mobile app is the worse app I have used, ever. Requires constant login, fails to load, loads incorrectly with no options to refresh, forcing reload from App Store. It sends false errors and simply is substandard. Adt needs to invest is a class mobile development team and fix this. See Honeywell or Carrier or any other major smart home app service on market with much much better tools. This is frustrating.

Just horrible!!!

If I could give this app zero stars I would. My fiancé and I both have the app and his loads up fine with no problems. But for me however I have restarted my phone, deleted the app 5 times and reloaded it and it still wont log me in. I am paying for a service that only one of us can use. I hope they fix this if not I want to take my business elsewhere. So much for ADT being the best, because so fair they have been nothing but the worst.

Just bad

The app doesnt even remember when I go on, like recently there was and update I get the app shows me whats new. Then days after the update it acts like I didnt even open the app and it still shows me whats new even a week letter of opening the app day after day. And another think is when I complete close the app its doesnt remember my 4 digit password and every time on open the app it tell me if I want to creat on and just did yesterday. And one other thing is that it still want me to select USA or Canada region and I selected Us and days after it still want me to choose one.

Slow

Everything is so slow in this app.

Terrible

My wife and I are not able to arm / disarm from the app. This is a big reason we went with the pulse over the standard security package! Very frustrating!!!

Slow login

I can log on to security system using google chrome faster than app. Each upgrade makes it slower. You would think ADT would invest in their app to the quality of their security system.

Crap app

Unreliable. Sometimes it will not accept my password. Says it is invalid. An hour later it accepts it. If you need to turn off the alarm to let someone in the house, you cant. Because the app does not work.

WORST UPDATE EVER!!!!!!

Update 4/10/16: the ruined home view is still terrible. Who is designing this garbage? Youre the largest security system company in the country with over 6 million customers, and you cant design a solid/usable app? Give me a break. This app is literally a joke. Update 3/22/16: You shrunk/ruined the home view AGAIN!! What in the world are you screwing around with the home view for again. Now its tiny and must be zoomed in to work any lights/door locks. Terrible. Update 11/7/15: The developers clearly havent listened to the feedback from literally thousands of their pulse app users. The navigation of the features is still useless, the ability to use the home view to see whats on/unlocked/running is still useless. TIP FOR ADT: ACTUALLY TRY USING THIS GARBAGE BEFORE YOU ROLL IT OUT TO US. RUINED A GREAT THING WITH THIS REDESIGN/APP OVERHAUL. The old app had a very clear way to navigate the features of the pulse system all along the bottom for quick and perfect access... Alarm, lights, camera, thermostats, doors/locks. Now the app has ridiculous/unnecessary navigation menus. The VERY WORST PART OF ALL.... The home view (which was the best part) no longer gives you a clear/easy picture of which lights are on, doors, are open, etc. The previous app had the lights lit up yellow when they were on, the locks highlighted yellow when they were open, thermostats highlighted yellow when the HVAC was running, etc. Whoever designed this update had absolutely no clue that the most useful part of the app was the home view with the highlighted icons to give you the quick summary of what was going on in your home. Its blatantly obvious that the app designers never used the former pulse app themselves. This update is terrible. Please fix this ASAP!!!! The functionality is ruined and the quick view of whats happening is gone.
