New version does not work

Really disappointing update. Should have been tested better.

Wont Disarm "Night Stay" mode

App will not disarm when in "Night Stay" mode. Message says "Status: Unknown".

Simple fix would make a big difference

Ive never reviewed an app before, but I felt compelled to do so in hopes that an ADT developer (or someone connected to one) sees it. This app is nice in that it allows you to view your floor plan in Home View without having to set it up using the app (in fact you cannot setup Home View using this app; it can only be done on the desktop portal). HOWEVER, for some reason the app view has a glaring omission that takes it from potentially useful to essentially useless. The desktop portal does a great job displaying which sensors are detecting motion, as they turn from green to orange and the icons change too. The app does neither of these things! You have to manually click on each sensor, one at a time, to view its status. Beyond that, arming and disarming works fine. Not owning video cameras, that pretty much covers everything this app can do. It does have a nice looking interface, particularly with the ability to add our own image.

New Problems

I constantly get error when I try to disarm from night mode. It tells me status unknown. Also I can no longer zoom in camera mode!!

New update not great

Still think lots to be done with this app .... On an iPad they try to do too much on one screen , give us the whole map overview and the icons to go into specific things like thermostat , cameras etc .. Maybe that would also help speed ... I think ADT was all about the look and not the day to day function on the latest update . Hard to navigate and use , slow to load ; which frustrates me the most . They really need to think about the basics . I cant even see how you can program your lights to come on dusk to dawn for example .

way too complicated

I know the last version broke down fairly often but at least I could understand it. New one is so complicated I had to disarm at the home base.

Slow to login and now cannot unarm when in night mode.

Um.... 22 seconds to log in just to dim my lights? Here is my updated review. It still takes too long to log in, this has not been resolved. We should have access to adjust lighting without logging in. All our iPhones are PW protected now, dimming lights is not a security risk.

Such a great new update, now my status after I login says unknown so I can not arm or disarm my system from my phone. Thanks.

App has been ruined

This new app is very disappointing. It doesnt work properly and like other users I cant update my alarm status as it shows as being unknown. The new user interface is confusing and Im not able to check any of my sensors. Who is the idiot at ADT who approved or tested this? Why would I want to add pictures of my property to the app or go online and draw a diagram of my property and add sensors to it? I have much better things to do with my time and Im already mad that I have to waste my time leaving a review on a product that no longer works but hopefully it will save others some grief!!! Thanks ADT for wasting a customers time. Ill remember this when my contract is up for renewal.

Apple Watch Support?!

Is there an estimated time frame for when we can expect apple watch support?

First time user

Due to the fact that I cannot login, I give the app a 1. I would think that having the ability to log in, is one of the most important uses of the app.

STILL too slow to login to be of any use

It STILL takes way too long to login, even with a passcode. This makes it no longer worth using. One cant enter their house and disarm with the app. Keep setting off the alarm because of this, its why I bought the system. Dont install an alarm until they fix this, like they promised several releases ago.

Bad programmers

Maybe you guys should care more about customers than upgrading for the sake of ...upgrading. Always need to login, reset passwords, upgrade again and again everytime I want to use this app. I havent use this app once without running into new problems that often werent there previously.

Degraded

I hope someone reads this before they upgrade! Do not do it. History review does not function properly and format not as user friendly as the last version. This is missing a lot of functionality...

Good/Bad

I love the app... When it works! That is... You think being a paying customer of adt and that they push this app they could fix the bugs... The load time is very very long!... And right now I can not even connect to my system with my phone... Which renders it useless for what I pay for.... Fix it please!

Ho Hum. The application is not available

My impression is the same as other reviewers. Does not work cannot log in etc. Application is unavailable. The surprise is their customer support is aghast it is not working! "But I can log in on my computer and access your system!!" Maybe that is telling us something about ADT and it app specialists. I think it is time to find another provider. Of course like many Canadian companies the guru at the top is protected and not contactable.

Unable to upload a photo

I am unable to upload a photo after the recent update. It just continues to swirl after I select a photo. Please fix
