Where are the PUSH notifications????

There are still functional and conceptual issues that are NOT addressed in this latest iteration. First and foremost – there are no PUSH notifications in this app. This is a serious OVERSIGHT that ADT needs to address. Example – when a fire or smoke alarm is triggered - a PUSH notification should be sent to the user. This will ensure an immediate notification to the user and will focus his attention by displaying and requiring response to the PUSH notice. Heres the problem. I was busy reviewing and responding to numerous emails on my iPhone today. A burglar alarm was TRIGGERED at my residence. I did not notice this event since I was too engrossed in the task at hand. What shouldve happened? An immediate PUSH notification shouldve been sent to my iPhone - disrupting my work flow and focusing my attention to the alarm status. Instead, a text and email notification was sent - and buried with the numerous emails in texts I get daily. Not good!

Frustrating!!

This app is so frustrating, every time there is an update I lose my photo & now the most resent update the spot just goes round & round & the photo never appears, has been doing this for 3 days now. Hope someone fixes this problem SOON!!

Works great, could use Watch support

The app works great for alarming and disarming my ADT security system when I am out of the house (or even in the house when going to bed). Its easy to also see a history of when various zones in the house were opened, closed or detected motion. The recent addition of TouchID support makes the app much more useful. The only thing missing now is an Watch app: much more convenient to set or disable the security system from my wrist than to dig out my phone.

Over 2 Years still no IFTTT support.

When we bought our system our sales representative promised improvements to the application including ifttt integration. It has been two years and still no integration. This might be fine if it didnt take 45 seconds to find the system every time you want to arm and disarm. Im very disappointed in this application and have serious regrets with choosing adt over other alarm systems.

Latest update still too long to login

It takes far too long to login, constant failure "oops login failed" "oops login failed" "oops login failed".....meanwhile someones knocking at the door, and we cant login to see who it is...."Oops login failed"

Very weak

This application doesnt work properly, you have to stay next to control box to use this app, I have tried to disarm my system several times, it fails. Actually worth nothing, just waste the time.

This app sucks.

Slow to load and most of the time it says status unknown. Hows that protecting my home?

Needs improvement

Too way long to sign in, before was better, thermostat at cooling mode refuse to update, cant change temp by fingers, had the technician twice at my home and couldnt be solve, Why do I pay $18 more on the plan for the ADT pulse which is not with good function!!

Very Unreliable

This app is a sad excuse for home monitoring software. The video is unreliable, it times out, locks up and wont scroll to the bottom of the gallery videos. Should have gone with XFINITY.

Unreliable app and poor technical support

Cannot log into this app at all. Technical Support has lots of suggestions, none of which work. So they refer you to some other section of ADT who, of course, dont have any answers either. Sales people are quick to sell you a system with the promise you can monitor it with this app. I would not recommend the Pulse system to anyone. Nice concept but, unfortunately ADT doesnt have the ability to see it through.

Facelift needed

Facelift badly needed. Needs to be updated for iOS10 specs, needs more 3D Touch options, needs widget support, needs Apple Watch support.

Horrible

ADT sells you on being able to manage your alarm wirelessly thru the app and its very deceiving because the app DOES NOT WORK EVER. I am able to login but have had my alarm system for a month now and have not been able to successfully arm or disarm my system thru the app once. Stay away from ADT. They trick you into packages and then none of the features work. Very disappointing.

Bad app

Never can log in

This app is terrible

I am currently unable to lock my home with it because its just not working. Go to settings and try to click through for help... you cant. Several times, I know I entered the right passcode and it wouldnt help. After an emergency surgery I sent a friend to my house, they set off the alarm and I wasnt able to shut it off, e squad was dispatched. I pay a lot for this service. Get it together adt!

Needs work

I love the app and I utilize it while out of town to turn lights on check on my my house. After this last update I am now not able to turn on my lights. Nothing has changed on my end. I simply did the update and now my lights wont turn on remotely with the app. The switch I use manually will still turn them on but not through the app. Very frustrating. Please fix this issue.

nice

very convenient

Terrible app

Im really shocked with the poor quality of this app. How has no one in their IT dept fixed this to make it better? Its supposed to be an app we can rely on and all it does is crash, freeze, doesnt work at all or let me sign in, doesnt save my login information when I ask it to- therefore it causes me to have to use an alternative route, and lastly I cant send he video clip from the app?? Really??? This app needs to improve or I will no longer be using it. This is very frustrating. That a security system company cant even get their app together in order to use half of the services I pay for. What a shame.

Cant log in - "Network Unavailable"

You have to fix this. 99 out of 100 times I try to log in I get "Network Unavailable" or "Cannot connect to Pulse servers". There are no "network" issues preventing me from accessing any other service, including writing and posting this review.

Stepping forward...and then back again

Update Oct 2016 What a crock. Now the app wont accept credentials or log in at all. Able to access via website on same device. If you cant get the basics right then why bother. Update Mar 2016 - back to 1 star Once again, the wise people have decided to mess with a losing formula. The app now repeatedly requires log in, making Touch ID useless. The home view screen has been compressed and just looks wrong. When will they take a time to test their releases first?? Update Jan 2016 - now 2 star So I have to concede some real improvements have been made. This app now exceeds the minimal standards one expects but is a long way from being great. Remaining frustrations are: - still way too slow to log in, even with touchID - the layout is more like someones web design forced into an app format - this needs to be designed with app users needs in mind. If I want to check my mode or thermostat settings, I dont want to have to click 3 times and scroll around to do it. - you still have to use the web service to change any automations (cant be done from the app) and you cant use the website on iPhone with 100% success. Update - you should check the definition of listen!! This is still appalling. The login is buggy - had to re enter credentials three times today. Why they insist on making you click three things to get a job done I dont know. Some of the text and buttons are too small for a phone screen. Previous version was clunky, sometimes buggy but generally worked. This latest update is all form and no function. Navigation is more like a website and just doesnt work well on the phone. Its often easier just to use Safari and access the website. If this had been the version I tested before purchase I would never have had it installed in my home.

Not a well oiled machine, by any measure

This looks like a first attempt at creating an app. Freezes, crashes, wont respond, slow, unreliable. They should get some help from the Ring doorbell/camera people.
